MOROCCO - An enchanting wonderland of colours, smells, noise and inspiration!
Below is a selection of photographs I took on my travels throughout Morocco. I was experimenting with colours, form and space. I hope you enjoy!

This photo was taken in the heart of the medina a midday get together
I was lucky enough to stay at this beautiful Riad and I cant begin to describe how much inspiration I gained from spending time in such a place. The owner was an italian woman who had the most beautiful eye for design.

She decorated the interiors in pale hues of cream and white to bring peacefulness in the crazy world of Marrakech

The Ceilings were 20ft high in the rooms and had beautiful cast iron doors

Colours in the tannery - this is where all the leathers are sustainably died using the oldest technique in history
Gorgeous mosaic tiles everywhere. The colour combinations are so strong - primary colours with rich earthy tones
The Oldest city in the world - FES! I absolutely loved the scale of this city wall

In the heart of the Souk in Fes- The colours in this shot are so vibrant and the look on the woman's face is so mysterious

A place to call home in the heart of the Sahara- Nomad tent!
I was experimenting with lenses, love the shades of colour on this photo. Love the shapes and sizes of the cactuses.
Desert Dreaming: Sahara- I took this picture from afar of the two camels being lead by the nomad.

The sahara is such a barren place full of subtle simplicity, words are hard to describe the sheer beauty and harsh reality of this place.
I just loved the textures and patterns the wind would make in the sand dunes, it was an awe of inspiration and beauty
Mystical Desert walks
Sunrise over the Sahahra
Footsteps in the sand
The donkeys carry all the goods high into the Atlas mountains, their colourful rugs and adornment around their bridal was spectacular.
RIAD- Another name for a hotel- I loved this sign, reminded me off the HOLLYWOOD sign!
I loved the wrought iron work framing the mountains
High in the Atlas mountains- a mecca of inspiration with the traditional Berber woven rugs, sivercrafts , crystals and delicious tagine's
I took this shot  over the rooftop of Essouera- Morocco's sea side village. I love the contrast of the bright blue sky with the rustic buildings and clotheslines.
This building is over 1000 years old. The woman in full dress on the right gives this photograph an erie vibe
Looking over the Medina in Marrakech- I love the eclectic mix of buildings and all the small winding streets
Love in the Medina- This moment was so beautiful. One that is rarely seen in a muslim country. I also love the woman in turquoise in the background
One of my favourite pics from the trip. The two camels trekking through the Sahara!
Charming sssssnakes
Colours in the Medina- spices, art & doors
